Remember how we revealed here that Demi Moore was (loosely) featured in Loose Screws: Screwballs 2? Well, none other than ubiquitous DVD Delirium scribe Nathaniel Thompson in his mondo-digital review of Severin’s latest release made a fascinating, star spotting observation. During the trend setting beach dance number “Do the Screw”, there’s a disconcertingly enthusiastic male extra wearing tight white shorts and a cut-off “Hawaii” t-shirt who looks uncannily like a young Jim Carrey. And it’s no secret that the rubber faced funny man was cutting his teeth in the industry in Toronto during this period. Could the future star of such milestones of hilarity as Dumb & Dumber, Ace Ventura and The Majestic have been flexing his comedy muscles on a freezing cold beach by Lake Ontario that fateful day in 1985 to earn himself an extra 25 Canadian bucks? We asked Carrey’s management and so far, they haven’t denied it.
